trivago deploys 1 300 licences Dropbox Business

trivago, the comparator of the leading online hotel market, has chosen the solution Dropbox Business to support its growth. First search engine of hotels launched in Germany, the company is today present in 55 markets across the world and has one of the best growth rates in the country, with a profitability doubled since 2008. In the framework of its expansion strategy, which includes the construction of a new headquarters in Düsseldorf designed to accommodate 2,000 employees, trivago was looking for a collaboration solution easily usable by all of its employees and is able to grow at the pace of the company.

“trivago is a technology company in strong growth, which serves businesses and consumers around the world in the research sector of hotels. It provides the best possible tools to its employees,” says Sian Williams, head of business solutions at trivago. “We currently employ 1,200 people and hire 10 per week. So we need to create a toolbox of digital usable by all. We have the best existing tools to encourage the passion to undertake and find it wonderful that Dropbox fits so well to our work rhythm,” says Sian Williams.
Listed on the Nasdaq since December last year, trivago was born in Germany, before expanding to open offices in the rest of Europe, North America and Canada. More recently, the company launched in Latin America and in the Asia-Pacific region, two markets with the potential for expansion is very important.
