Quadran makes a “Euro PP” Green ” of € 46 million thanks to the support of the Crédit Agricole group

To enable it to continue its investments in new electricity production plants green, the Group Quadran has completed its first Euro PP Green format loan in the amount of 46 million euros. The transaction was arranged by Credit Agricole CIB, one of the world leaders on the market of Green and Sustainable Bonds, and at the initiative of Crédit Agricole’s Regional banks.

This private placement with a maturity of 5 years, with a fixed coupon and was placed with investors, French and international. The funds will help finance a construction program of new projects (solar and wind) of approximately 134 MW and prevent the emission of 107 kT of CO2. The programme will be subject to a regular reporting according to the principles of the Green Bond (the” Green Bond Principles “).

With 47 onshore wind farms, 16 solar power plants on the ground, 97 solar roofs, and 9 hydroelectric power plants, the Group Quadran has enjoyed sustained development since the beginning of 2017 and has passed several thresholds symbolic :

– more than 1 000 GWh of green energy produced,
– electricity production for nearly a million people,
– €1 billion in cumulative invested in facilities of production of renewable energies.

The objective of horizon 2020 is to harness 1000 MW each year.

The Group Quadran is also engaged in the offshore with the project Eolmed that will be built in the Mediterranean off the coast of Gruissan from 2020 and it develops an activity of marketing of green electricity through its subsidiary, Energies Free.
