Thus, Latécoère will participate in the design, development and manufacture of the new platform electrical in view of the campaign for the certification of this helicopter at high speed.
Moreover, Latécoère will also intervene in the development of video products involved in the safety of the use – monitoring system and assistance to the driver, and surveillance system assistance to operators winching – and the comfort of the passengers through the development of system of video entertainment. The final objective is to meet the future demands in terms of increased speed, cost-efficiency, but also emissions reduction and acoustic fingerprint.
With the demonstrator Clean Sky 2, it is not just to go faster ; the challenge is to gain speed in a smart way, by seeking the best compromise between cost-effectiveness, durability, and performance.
This partnership will commence by the end of 2017 for 3 years of development and the delivery of the first harness will occur in September 2019.
