Established in 1984, Camaieu is the leading brand of ready-to-wear for women at the international level, which is based on an own network of more than 1,000 stores (including 650 in France) located in 21 countries. Recognized leader in the online sale, several times awarded for its technological advances and creative in the field of e-Commerce, the Cameo has chosen Keyrus for its redesign of consumer Web sites, intended to accompany its growth and strengthen its international deployment. After the launch of the Polish site in late 2015, the Cameo has successfully operated the redesign of its website in French, building on the experience in Digital Commerce, Keyrus as well as on its technical and functional expertise of the SAP platform Hybris.
A project approach-agile, in-phase with the internal organization
Given the experience of the Cameo in the e-Commerce, and the complexity of its information system, the expectations and constraints around this project were high. The company had in particular developed many services cross-channel innovative that it was necessary to find in the new site and integrated into the back-office. The cameo also wished to rationalise its IF and improve his consistency in terms of urbanization.
During the tender, the Cameo has appreciated the intelligence of the response of Keyrus, which proposed a schedule that is realistic and flexible, as well as a methodology of agile project corresponding to the existing organization. This pragmatic approach was in tune with the vision of David Jimenez Cervera, Director of the Studies Department at the Cameo : “We know that in the e-Commerce, the needs are constantly changing. We have been flexible in the constitution of the boundary and the agile methodology of Keyrus has enabled their teams to adapt quickly to the needs of the Cameo. ”
Foundations robust technological
The first project carried out by Keyrus in 6 months for the redesign of the Web site Polish has enabled us to validate the technological choices and to put in place a strong integration with the back office. “The multiplicity of our services cross-channel, of our modes of delivery and payment, web-to-store, booking store-to-web, delivery locker… – generates many streams of information with different bricks of our back-office, for which we have made the choice of the best-of-breed” says David Jimenez Cervera. An important work on the repository product has been also carried out, in order to benefit from a single repository, which can then be customized for each country.
A core model to accelerate future deployments
After the launch of the merchant site Polish, already set in place by the teams of Keyrus, Cameo addresses the redesign of the French website and decides to build a core model. The goal is to incorporate maximum functionality to maintain a great customer experience and prepare the implementation of new services. The SAP platform is Hybris also allows you to meet the expectations of different Shades in terms of e-Merchandising : “We have in the catalogue a dozen new products per week,” explains Alison Muyard, Director of Development Cross-Channel in Monochrome. “The features of search, navigation and implementation are therefore key to optimizing the conversion rate on a site like ours. ”
A solid base to support the strategy of the Monochrome
Thanks to the work done with Keyrus on the Web site Polish, the project of the French site takes place by controlling its complexity, its costs and its delays. Launched last September, the French site has risen to the challenge to quickly fill the hollow natural due to the launch of a new site. “Today, the indicators are green, with in particular a growth in traffic and conversion rates,” says David Jimenez Cervera.
For the sequel, the Cameo is studying with Keyrus the extension of the functional scope of the site, to build a roadmap, and joint integrating more services.
