Italy: market shares end down; the index Investing.com Italy 40 declined 0.29%

Italy: The equity markets have finished the session lower on Thursday; the downturn in the chemicals, utilities, and Oil and gas contributed to this decline.

Close to Milan, the index Investing.com Italy 40 lost 0.29 per cent, thus signalling a low of 3 months.

The best performance of the session for the index Investing.com Italy 40 is to the credit of the title Leonardo SpA (MI:LDOF) in the increase of 3.82% 0,360 points for a closing price of 9,786. In the second position, we find Buzzi Unicem (MI:BZU) who wins 2,91% or 0.51 points for a closing units 18.06. The title Pirelli&C SPA (MI:PIRC) completes the top three with an increase of 1.65% is 0,0840 points for the end of the session to 5,1900.

Salvatore Ferragamo SpA (MI:SFER) marks the worst performance of the session, losing to 2.71% representing 0.54 points for a closing price of 19,41. Exor NV (MI:EXOR) abandons 1,70% 1,00 points and ends at 57,70. For its part, Enel (MI:ENEI) loose 1,45% 0,082 points for a closing price of 5,557.

The titles on the rise and have exceeded the number of titles down to the Milan stock Exchange by 216 values at 148, and 40 stable.

On the other hand, crude oil for delivery in July lost 2,84% 1,67 points, to $57.14 per barrel. Regarding other commodities, Brent crude for delivery in August declined from 3.05% 2,07 points to a course of $65,80 per barrel, while gold for delivery in June gained 0,47%, that is 6,00 points for a $1.287,00 a troy ounce.

The pair EUR/USD has recorded an increase of 0.08% to 1,1138, while the EUR/GBP pair took 0.19% to 0,8829.
