Paris, July 4, 2017 – For this 3rd edition of the Media Awards for Finance, CFA Society France was awarded the best in editorial contributions to the strengthening of best practices in investment and ethics in finance as well as to the improvement of knowledge and understanding of the readership in this area. This year, the competition has been able to count on the participation of the media the most recognised within the financial ecosystem.

The jury, composed of Philippe Auffray, CFA (Group AGPM), Pierre Bismuth, CFA (Myria AM), Najat El Mekkaoui (University of Paris-Dauphine), Eh Hardy, CFA (BNP Paribas Asset Management and President of CFA Society Belgium), Peter Lamass, CFA (2PM Group and a director of CFA Society Luxembourg), Philippe Maupas, CFA (Alpha Beta Consulting), Luc Paugam, CFA (CET) and Réda Tazi, CFA (Société Générale), had the difficult task to decide between the 9 publications and some 27 articles that contribute to the titles of the publication and the article of the year.

The credit rating of the articles was based on four criteria, which are in line with the values promoted by CFA Society France for the financial sector : pedagogy, relevance, clarity, and the use of objective data.

These are The Echos Weekend and the article of Franck Joselin entitled “management systematic attack to the Alpha,” published in The Agefi Asset that won both the title of the “Publication of the year “and” Article of the year “.

The three articles submitted to the jury were focused on topics as varied as the disappearance of the species in Stockholm and the use of virtual currencies, the portrait of Blythe Masters who update today on the blockchains and wants to revolutionize finance, or a survey of the economic history of the Empire of the Middle of the 18th century.
