This collaboration is part of a course project integration digital dedicated to new employees of the group. Composed of several modules, this course is intended in particular to transmit important values for the company as diversity, disability, and gender diversity, a theme entrusted to teams of Callimédia.

Distance education : an evidence for Bouygues Construction

To facilitate the dissemination of messages that are homogeneous in the time of integration that already existed within the Bouygues Construction group, the group has made the choice of digital training to reach out to more quickly and more easily its 50 000 employees in more than 80 countries. The choice of a course and a digital fact, the content remained to be created, involving different partners.

In 2016, Bouygues Construction launched a call for tender in order to find the specialist that can respond to its request regarding the module “Together Different” focusing on the themes of Diversity, and it is up to Callimedia has the ability to perform this work.

“Even if we were already using digital learning in-house, we needed a partner that could bring us expertise in the creation of e-Learning modules allowing the homogenization of our messages training. With our opening up to the international, it was important to train every employee at the DNA and the values of the Bouygues Construction : diversity, disability and mixing are of course part of it. ” said Cecilia Gaben, Digital Learning Manager of Bouygues Construction.

A specialized partner in e-Learning

Callimedia, the French expert on e-learning then puts at the disposal of Bouygues Construction with the skills of its editors and of its educational engineers.
The request was the following : create 3 components of an e-learning programme entitled “Together Different” to wear the three following themes : diversity, disability and gender equality.

The scenarios have been either refined by the teams Callimedia following a proposal by Bouygues Construction, to be fully constructed by the editors Callimedia. Everything that was created was then developed in 4 languages (English, French, German, and Spanish) in order to be able to be used by all employees of the group.
In order to develop the consciences and fight the stereotypes, Callimedia has chosen modalities intuitive featuring elements of everyday life.

“Ensure that employees assimilate the values of the company is a strong will at Bouygues Construction. Our educational engineers worked extensively on an approach structured around stereotypes. When the users will be formed on these modules, it is obvious that they will encounter difficulties that will make them think. In fact, we took the advantage of the shots that are more grounded in the collective unconscious on the topics of diversity, gender and disability in order to banish the myths “, underlines Christophe Fabre, co-founder of Callimedia.

The modules created by Callimedia will be used by all employees of the company (approximately 50,000 people).
