After revelations of sexual harassment in its factories, the CEO of Ford apologizes

The CEO of Ford has apologized to the employees of two plants in Chicago, Illinois (northeast United States), promising changes after the publication of an article reporting the facts of sexual harassment and alleged abuses including employees of the automobile manufacturer would have been victims.

A survey by the New York Times (NYT), published this week, recounts various cases of abuse exercised on women, dating back to the 1990s. More than 70% of current or former employees denounce a culture particularly hostile towards the fairer sex of the business, according to the daily.
