Valmet supplies a Advantage NTT tissuemaskin to Sofidel S. p.A in Spain

Valmet delivers a complete tissueproduktion to Sofidel’s mill Ibertissue in Buñuel, Navarre, Spain. The supply includes an Advantage NTT 200 tissue production line, mäldberedningssystem and automation systems. The Start of the new production line is estimated to the end of 2018.

The order is included in Valmet’s orders received for the first quarter of 2017. The value are not announced.

The new line in Spain is Sofidels fourth Advantage NTT-maskine from Valmet.Previously, the company purchased a NTT machine to Delitissue-mill in Poland and two additional NTT machines to their new facility in Circleville, Ohio, USA. In total, this is the fifteenth tissuemaskinen Valmet delivers to Sofidel.

Technical information

The new tissue machine is designed for a speed of 1800 metres per minute in textured mode and 2000 meters per minute in the conventional mode. The production line is optimized to save energy and fibre and creates opportunities for product differentiation and increased capacity for the products of premium quality.

Valmet’s delivery includes a complete production line including a Advantage NTT tissue machine, with an OptiFlo inloppslåda and a cast Yankee cylinder. Delivery also follows the Advantage of the technology with an AirCap yankeekåpa and associated air system, WetDust dammhanteringssystem and a SoftReel B is wheelchair accessible. Processlayout, mäldberedningssystem and automationspaket with DCS (Distributed control system) and QCS (Quality Control System) is also included in Valmet’s delivery.
