Alberta Highway Services Ltd (AHSL), a subsidiary of Colas Canada, and sub-contracting the group MVP, is the holder of the maintenance contract of the section in construction. This contract, which will end in 2051, amounted to $ 204 million in canada2 (€136 million). AHSL is renowned for its expertise developed over 22 years through many contracts of maintenance and winter viability of the motorways and secondary roads in the province of Alberta.
Standard General Calgary, subsidiary of Colas Canada and road construction company of reference operating in the city of Calgary for more than 75 years, is entrusted by the group designer-maker KGL Constructors1 the manufacturing and the implementation of all of the asphalt of the project, approximately one million tonnes, for a total amount of 95 million canadian dollars (64 million euros). The work has already started and should be completed by October 2021.
