There is a small scent came from France and of Air France – in the conflict that starts, Monday 14 and Wednesday 16 may, a large part of the drivers for SN Brussels Airlines. Nearly 600 flights will be cancelled and 63 000 passengers affected by this movement, which is only the second in the history of the company, born in 2006 out of the remnants of the defunct Sabena.
Forced efforts wage since 2012, the drivers had hoped that the takeover of their company by Lufthansa, in 2017, would come out of the rut. They quickly became disillusioned after the dismissal of their boss, Bernard Gustin, and his right arm, Jan De Raeymaeker, to be replaced by German leaders. And the fate that will eventually be booked on SN Brussels in the whole Eurowings, a subsidiary of the German group, remains uncertain.
