The justice refused to prohibit Attac to occupy the Apple stores

The tribunal de grande instance (TGI) of Paris dismissed Friday, the u.s. giant Apple, which requested the prohibition of access of its shops, a French association of anti-globalisation Attac, under a penalty of € 150,000 per breach of the prohibition.

The “imminent” relied on by Apple to justify this request, is “not characterized”, said the judge, to which the matter referred. Apple had initiated these proceedings after militants of Attac had invaded a store in December in Paris, to denounce the tax practices of the american group.
