The EMU current account balance +21.1 bn in June.

The current account of the euro area recorded a surplus of 21.1 bn in June.

It shows the seasonally adjusted statistics from the ECB.

Trade in goods generated a surplus on the seasonally adjusted 27.4 billion euros, while the services account surplus at eur 2.2 billion.

Primary income (investment income) showed a surplus of eur 4.6 billion, while the secondary income (current transfers) showed a deficit of € 13.0 billion.

For the twelve month period to June, the current account for the euro area, a surplus of 336,5 billion (3.1% of GDP), compared with a surplus of eur 375,0 billion during the twelve-month period to the same month in 2016 (3.5 percent of GDP).
