Boston (USA) / Velizy – France, may 22, 2017 — PTC (NASDAQ : PTC) today announced the opening Monday, may 22 of its user conference, the event LiveWorx. A conference focused on technologies, who will present the solutions created in order to foster the emergence of a world that is more intelligent and more connected.

It will include more than 300 training sessions, led by experts in very diverse fields : computer-aided design, or CAD, life-cycle management of the products or PLM, augmented reality and Internet of Things or IoT. This year, the workshops will also be grouped by industrial sector, ranging from aerospace and defense, industrial manufacturing, medical, still of the textiles industry (Retail).
Presentations of several key players in the sector will take place during the four-day event :
Aneesh Chopra, first Chief Technology Officer U.s. federal, will explain how he has been involved in the digital transformation of the us administration in an interview with the editor-in-chief of WIRED magazine, Nicholas Thompson.
Reshma Saujani, founder of the non-profit organization Girls Who Code, speaks of the result of the failures that she has encountered in the course of his political career, which prompted her to create a movement at the national level, in order to help women choose a career in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
Erik Brynjolfsson, a successful author and director of the Initiative of the MIT for the digital economy (IDE, Initiative on the Digital Economy), we will discuss his next book, detailing his vision of the changing role of technology in our lives.
The participants will be able to attend dozens of demonstrations of the presented technologies in the exhibition hall for this major event, Xtropolis. In addition, they will have the opportunity to interact with their peers in the context of moments of ‘networking’ or training, including at a party, ‘technologies’, which will take place on may 24.
