The competition Authority authorizes under certain conditions redemptions of Tati and Bricorama

The competition Authority has authorized the repurchase of Tati by the distribution group, Gifi and Bricorama by the company ITM Equipment of the House, already owner of the brands Bricomarché and Brico Cash.

The Authority has specified Tuesday in a press release that it gives its green light to the resumption of the stores in the group Tati (signs Tati, Fabio Lucci, Giga store) for Gifi group (GPG), the latter having agreed to dispose of four points of sale and not for distribution of products to the decoration and the bazaar within a store Fabio Lucci for a period of five years, renewable once.

The tribunal de commerce de Bobigny had designated the end of June Gifi as the buyer of the placement into receivership of the whole group, Agora Distribution, which includes Tati, Giga Store, Fabio Lucci and Degrif’Mania.

Moreover, the Competition has given its green light to the redemption of Bricorama at the end of its first phase of investigation, the acquirer ITM Equipment of the House, a subsidiary of ITM Enterprises, is committed to give five points of sale, and to terminate a franchise agreement.
