BERLIN (Reuters) – The cryptomonnaies as the bitcoin need more regulation, and a degree of security to become an asset class worthy of the name for the investors, said Christian Nolting, chief investment officer of Deutsche Bank (DE:DBKGn) Wealth Management.
“The cryptomonnaies currently represent an investment highly speculative and without any regulation,” he said in a presentation released Thursday on the website of Deutsche Bank.
The bitcoin, the most popular of the virtual currencies, getting dealt Thursday evening around $ 16,000 (13.585 euros) on the platform luxembourg Bitstamp, is up over 19% on the day, having previously passed the symbolic milestone of $ 15,000.
Since the beginning of October, its price has more than tripled.
