LONDON, PARIS and HOUSTON, June 7, 2017 TechnipFMC (NYSE and Euronext : FTI) has entered into a framework agreement for a term of three years with Woodside Energy Ltd in Australia. This contract covers services of intervention without riser (RLWI*) engineering and subsea this includes the procedure, the installation, the filling and abandonment of the wells.

According to the terms of the agreement, TechnipFMC will ensure in a first-time installation services and RLWI on the development Greater Western Flank Phase 2 (with gwf-2), located approximately 175 km north-west of Dampier in Western Australia.
TechnipFMC will install Christmas trees sub-marine – subsea trees – and will deploy its equipment RLWI dedicated to the deep waters in order to intervene on eight subsea wells in the development with gwf-2.

The service RLWI of TechnipFMC combines the modern technologies of access and intervention on wells with operational expertise in offshore and marine, in order to ensure a fully integrated service. *Riserless Light Well Intervention : intervention services without riser – Riser : a pipe or series of pipes used as a liaison fond-surface for the transfer of hydrocarbon products from the seabed to the production unit on the surface.
