REDWOOD CITY, Calif. and BANGALORE, India July 4, 2017 Talend (NASDAQ : TLND), a world leader in integration solutions big data and cloud, announces the official opening of its new office in India, in Bangalore, to develop the commercial opportunities at the local level and better meet the needs of its customers internationally. The new premises cater to members of the department of customer success at Talend, including the professional services team. It will provide support and will provide training to the many customers of Talend and system integrators (SI) with centers of development or excellence in India, but also among local actors. The team in India also includes a sales force that will help them to grow in the region, the opportunities offered by the Talend solutions stimulated by a massive movement of digitalization of public and private companies.
According to Gartner, it services in India are now experiencing extremely rapid evolution. India has one of the economies most dynamic in the world. The market is exploding. In addition, indian companies are clearly engaged on the path of digitization, and have, therefore, need the help of their it departments to achieve it. Just like their counterparts in the highest-performing in the rest of the world, the DSI indians regard the digital services (and in particular the growth or the market share of these activities) as a strategic priority for their companies in 2017. This is the case for 37 % of them (compared to 28 % performance and 21% of respondents globally).1
“I am delighted by this new presence in India, which I consider as an important part of our business strategy at a global level,” said Mike Tuchen, CEO of Talend. “The new office of Talend in Bangalore enables us to bring us closer to the development teams of many of our most important clients. It will also help us strengthen and expand our relationship with our most important partners are system integrators such as Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant or Wipro, which have a significant presence on-site. ”
The new office, which will be one of the most important of Talend in the Asia-Pacific region, will enable the company to work more closely with its partners and expedite the training of their employees about their solutions. In the light of current commitments on the part of the main system integrators, Talend plans to train more than three times the consultants in 2017, compared to the previous year. The growth in the number of consultants trained in the technologies that Talend will help system integrators, to meet the growing demand of skills on big data and cloud, from their customers to carry out their transformations digitales.
