Softbank entered the capital of Uber with a large discount

The japanese group SoftBank Group has succeeded in its goal to enter the capital of Uber Technologies by taking advantage of a large discount, which reports Thursday, the Wall Street Journal, citing sources close to the matter.

Shareholders and employees of the transportation company, have sold shares representing approximately 20% of the share capital of the group, according to the newspaper. Softbank will most likely limit its participation to 15% in the transaction, which values Uber at $ 48 billion (40 billion euros), with the balance going to other investors, ” adds the Wall Street Journal.
