SkyTeam has won the title of best airline alliance in its first ranking of its kind published by Flight-Report on may 23. SkyTeam receives the title of best airline alliance in 2017, with a score of 7.50/10. Oneworld takes the second place, in front of the Star Alliance.

Flight-Report stresses that each of the three alliances stands out from the crowd in one of the 3 great continents. In the area of America, it is the alliance, which is first with 7,78/10. In the area between Europe and Africa, it is the Star Alliance, which finished first with 7,38/10. Finally in Asia and Oceania, it is oneworld, which is in front with 7.97 on average.
Founded in New York in 2000 around Aeromexico, Air France-KLM group, Delta Air Lines and Korean Air, Skyteam today has 20 members.
