Saffron Electrical & Power announced today that they have signed an agreement of technological cooperation and trade with Diota. This agreement relates to R&D work to design, develop and operate innovative solutions using augmented reality and optimized for the products, tools and services of Safran’s Electrical & Power.

Diota, a leading publisher of software solutions for augmented reality dedicated to the industry, offers solutions that enable manufacturers to closely associate the numeric data and operational in order to enhance the performance and traceability of their operations and processes. Safran Corporate Ventures, announced last fall a stake in its capital.
With this agreement, Diota cooperates with the world leader of electrical wiring in the aerospace sector to develop products and services around the maintenance and validation of installation of electrical systems for aeronautics and space.
An application is presented on the stand of Safran at the paris air Show. It is a tool of research of a breakdown, designed in collaboration with the start-up Win MS, which you can see and locate, via a digital tablet, electrical faults through the walls of the planes (which contain many of the cables). It is a revolution that will significantly reduce maintenance time.
