Nuclear : appeal filed against the approval given to the commissioning of the tank of the power plant of Flamanville

The state of the reactor vessel pressurized european (EPR) at Flamanville (Manche) continues to give rise to strong reservations and concerns. Thursday, November 30, several NGOS, including the Network-out of nuclear power and Greenpeace, who report anomalies in the construction of this vessel, are said to have filed an appeal before the Council of State requesting the annulment of the agreement recently granted by the nuclear safety Authority (ASN).

“This vessel was not manufactured according to the rules of the art, there have been fakes (…). The ASN would have had to put his veto on the possible use of this vessel, ” said Charlotte Mijeon, spokeswoman of the Network-out of nuclear power.
