Lyon, Houten, may 15, 2017 – AMOEBA (FR0011051598 – AMEBA), a producer of a biocidal biologically capable of eliminate the bacterial risk in water, announced today the signing of a distribution agreement for its product BIOMEBA with NOVOCHEM Water Treatment. This agreement is subject to the obtaining of the authorization for placing on the market (AMM) in the netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg.

The collaboration between NOVOCHEM and AMOEBA began in 2015 when signing a Letter of Intent (LOI).
In 2016, a first industrial test has been deployed in the netherlands with a customer of NOVOCHEM, operating in the tertiary sector. After a successful debut of ten months, this test is still in progress and has confirmed the effectiveness of BIOMEBA and leads NOVOCHEM to start a second industry test in the month of may with a client in the sector of heavy industry.
Through the signing of this distribution contract, even before obtaining the marketing authorisation, NOVOCHEM demonstrates its confidence in the continuation of the regulatory process and in the effectiveness of the product BIOMEBA. Moreover, NOVOCHEM is committed to the side of AMOEBA to help it defend its regulatory dossier with the european authorities.
