Safran Electronics & Defense has unveiled today at the paris air Show the new generation Euroflir 410, optronic system airborne very high performance aircraft systems and drones : mission equipped aircraft, helicopters, aérostats, drones, long-endurance.
Designed for armed forces and security forces, the new system, Euroflir 410 provides high value-added services for the benefit of the forces engaged in the most demanding missions : intelligence, surveillance, targeting, protection, response, and search and rescue.
The new generation Euroflir 410 Saffron is a major step forward in the critical area of optronics airborne. Modular and highly integrated, its architecture allows it to carry a large number of sensors and makes the product the most powerful of his generation in its category.
Its cameras, multi-spectral, very high resolution provide an unparalleled ability for detection and identification of targets at a distance for increased safety, regardless of the environments (smoke, dust, mist, salty environment), day or night. As an option, its laser designator also allows you to guide munitions, air-to-ground precision.
Listening to the operational and in the first world, Saffron has incorporated several major innovations directly to the platform of the Euroflir 410 in order to facilitate the understanding of the environment in situations of emergency and stress, with particular attention to an intuitive ergonomics focuses on the decision-making.
With standardized interfaces, the new generation Euroflir 410 can be integrated into any mission system and communicate with the equipment on board directly from the cockpit or workstation. The data flow can enrich the tactical situation, to feed into the process of multi-sensor or supporting devices of combat and intervention.
Around Euroflir 410, Safran offers a complete range of services : certification and modification of aircraft, training of operators in the use and the maintenance in operational condition, and provision of support full life cycle of the product.
The new family Euroflir 410 will, in its configuration with the most comprehensive, in the heart of the string image of the Patroller, the future system of tactical uav (SDT) of the French army. Safran Electronics & Defence develops and produces optronic systems for combat helicopters and maneuver in France and at international level (NH90 Caiman, Caracal, Cougar, Panther, and Tiger).
At le Bourget 2017, Euroflir 410 is visible on the stand of Saffron, the booth of the DGA, and on the static Patroller, where the system will be dynamic demonstration.
