Mexico and Canada dismisses Trump’s threat to end Nafta.

Mexico and Canada dismissed on Wednesday president Donald Trump’s threats to end the Nafta agreement, which, according to the two countries alone, is a negotiation tactics.

”I think we’re eventually likely to end Nafta, at any point,” said the president at a kampanjmöte in Phoenix the night of Wednesday, according to Bloomberg News. The president has previously said that it is a bad deal that hurts U.S. workers.

The mexican foreign minister, Luis Videgaray, waving away Donald Trump’s statement, which according to him is only a negotiation tactics, and said that negotiations will continue.

”He negotiates in his own special way”, said the minister at a local tv channel.

A canadian official said that the threat does not frighten Ottawa, because the government has recovered to such turbulence. It writes Reuters.
