Mediawan strengthens its management structure

Paris, June 6, 2017, 8: 00 am – Mediawan (ticker : MDW – ISIN : FR0013247137), platform-independent audiovisual content in Europe, announces the hiring of three executives in its management team and confirms the appointment of Orla Noonan to the strategic Committee. To meet the ambitious targets of the group’s development, Mediawan strengthens its management structure with the recruitment of its chief financial officer, as well as a legal officer and a deputy chief financial officer.

Guillaume Izabel was appointed chief financial officer and has inter alia the implementation of the necessary tools for the accompaniment of the growth, the conduct of the operations of fusion-acquisitions and their financing, as well as the supervision of accounts and financial communication. A graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique, Guillaume has an experience of twelve years in the bank business in the media sector in Europe, and today occupies the position of Manager mergers and acquisitions at the bank, Lazard, with which he has accompanied Mediawan in the acquisition of AB Group.

He will be assisted in financial management by Maxime Guichot-Perere, who has an experience of over 5 years in financial advisory services at Eight Advisory.

Charlotte Margueritte was appointed head of the legal Mediawan. Charlotte has an experience of nearly 15 years in law firms, anglo-saxons, including the last 10 at White & Case.

In addition, as announced during the acquisition of the AB Group, Orla Noonan – Director-general of AB Group – has been named a member of the strategic Committee of Mediawan. It will be on it without being a member of the supervisory Board. Thus, the strategic Committee now has six members, under the chairmanship of Rodolphe Belmer.

The governance structure of the Group AB remains unchanged :
– Pierre-Antoine Capton : President ;
– Orla Noonan : Director-General ;
– Denis Bortot : Deputy General Director in charge of human resources, technical resources and information services ;
– Richard Maroko : Deputy General Director in charge of the edition of the channels, the acquisition and management of audiovisual rights and production documentary ;
– Valérie Vleeschhouwer : Deputy Director-General in charge of all outside sales programs, relationships with independent producers and the establishment of international co-productions.

About Mediawan
Mediawan was incorporated in December 2015 in the form of an acquisition vehicle (” SPAC “), in order to acquire one or more target companies in the field of traditional media and digital or in the entertainment industry in Europe.
