Klépierre shall appoint Michaël Farbos director of the development group

Klépierre, the leading pure play in real estate shopping malls in Europe, announces the appointment of Michaël Farbos as Director of the development Group ; he will commence his duties on may 29. It will in particular be in charge of the development and the optimization of the pipeline of projects of Klépierre in identifying new opportunities, both for renovation and extension of existing malls as of new projects, greenfield. He will report directly to the executive Board of Klépierre, and be a member of the management team of the Group.

Michaël Farbos began his career in 2003 within the group Unibail as in Charge of operations and then Director of operations assistant in 2004. In this capacity, he was responsible for asset management operational, in charge of the follow-up of major projects of renovation and restructuring, such as Vélizy 2 and Nice Star. In 2006, he joined Hammerson as Manager of Investments, and deputy Director of investment and asset management in 2010 before being promoted in 2013, Director of investments, asset management and development. In recent functions, he has steered the activities of acquisition and disposal of assets as well as the development of projects greenfield and brownfield such as the Terraces of The Port in Marseille. Michaël Farbos, 36 years old, was a graduate of the École Centrale Paris in 2003.
