Italy: market shares end down; the index Investing.com Italy 40 fell 0.69 per cent

Italy: The equity markets have finished the session lower on Wednesday; the decline of the sectors, Technology, Oil and gas, and Chemistry contributed to this decline.

Close to Milan, the index Investing.com Italy 40 was down 0.69%.

The best performance of the session for the index Investing.com Italy 40 is to the credit of the title Azimut Holding SpA (MI:AZMT) up 1.71%, or 0,260 points for a closing price of 15,430. In the second position, we find Terna Rete Elettrica Nazionale SpA (MI:TRN) and win 1.01 per cent corresponding to 0.058 points for a close at 5,776. The title Amplifon SpA (MI:AMPF), completes the top three with an increase of 0.85% or 0,170 points for the end of the session to 20,160.

Tenaris SA (MI:TENR) sign the worst performance of the session, losing 4,36% or 0.49 of a point to a closing price of 10,76. Saipem SpA (MI:SPMI) gives up 3.65 per cent, or 0,1570 points and ends at 4,1490. For its part, Pirelli&C SPA (MI:PIRC) loose of 2.85% is 0,1520 points for a closing price of 5,1760.

The titles in the drop exceeded the number of titles up on the Milan stock Exchange by 248 values to 110 and 31 were stable.

On the other hand, crude oil for delivery in July lost to 2.65%, equivalent to 1,41 points, to $51,86 the barrel. Regarding other commodities, Brent crude for delivery in August declined by 2.26 per cent or 1,41 points for a $60,88 barrel, while gold for delivery in August gained of 0.39%, that is, by 5.15 points for a $1.336,35 per troy ounce.

The pair EUR/USD recorded a decline of 0.31% to 1,1294, while the EUR/GBP pair fell 0.01% to 0,8901.
