Paris, may 18, 2017 Interoute, operator and owner of a platform of cloud services and global networks the most important in Europe, has recently opened a new Point of Presence (PoP) in Marseille, at InterXion MRS2. Interoute is present in Marseille for over 15 years, with its own data center and colocations in InterXion MRS1 and Jaguar. This new PoP in the region, combined with the hub-OHM (Open Hub Med) recently turned on to Palermo in Sicily, allows Interoute to link traffic digital from Africa, Asia and the Middle East to Europe, through the equipment of submarines present on the spot.

In parallel with the opening of this new PoP, Interoute is now offering its users to make quick and easy changes to the network, for increased flexibility. Indeed, Interoute provides services SDN including capacity SD-WAN instant, allowing companies to manage their applications and data locally. With this service, users can optimize network performance, reduce latency and improve time-to-market.
