This year, Saffron square his participation in the 52nd International exhibition of Aeronautics and Space under the sign of industrial innovation and the Factory of the Future. Several technologies and demonstrations of virtual reality, augmented reality or 3D printing will be presented in a dedicated space at the centre of the stand, Safran (Hall 2A–228-252).

Saffron will exhibit also featured products that are representative of its activities including the LEAP, a new-generation engine from CFM International*, and the successor to the CFM56, Silvercrest, engine intended for business jets to large cabin and long-range action, the Arrano, turbine helicopter of new generation, the nacelle for the A320neo, the Patroller, tactical uav multi-sensor or the system taxiage electric allowing the airplane to move on the ground without using the main engines or other tractors.

This year, Safran will be present at the Paris Air Lab, space 2 000 m2 entirely dedicated to industrial innovation, located in the Concord Hall of the Museum of Air and Space. The great groups of the aeronautics and space industry but also the startups in the sector will showcase their innovations today and tomorrow. This space will also be a place for immersive experiences in virtual reality or augmented. On its stand, Safran will present innovative products, such as the fuel cell, the hydrogen storage solid or even a turbogénérateur (mock-up)… And innovative technologies such as hybridization of propulsion. Conference-debate on the future of the sector and of “pitching sessions” will be facilitated for some by Saffron and startups. They will take place each day of the show (see the program here).

Saffron, who recruits this year, 5,000 people in the world, including 1,600 in France, will be present on the Plane of the Trades – Forum Air Employment Training, a space reserved for business, employment and training within the aerospace industry. The Group puts forward a number of trades for which it is recruiting : fitter-assembler, manufacturing machine, and software engineer and Big data. Animations, conferences, meetings with the ambassadors will help the candidates to discover these trades, as well as the activities of the Group.
