France: The stock markets finish lower; the CAC 40 index fell 0.08 per cent

France: The stock markets have finished the session lower on Monday; the withdrawal of Food and drugs, Gas and water, and general Financial contributed to this decline.

In the closing session in Paris, the CAC 40 index has lost 0,08%, while the SBF 120 index declined 0.12%.

The best performance of the session for the CAC 40 index is to be put to the credit of the title ArcelorMittal SA (AS:MT) increased 1.26% or 0,192 points for a closing price of 15,406. In the second position, we find TechnipFMC PLC (PA:FTI) wins by 1.04% or 0.23 points for a closing 22,36. The title of L’oréal SA (PA:OREP) completes the top three with an increase of 0.75%, or 1,90 points for the end of the session to 254,60.

Sodexo SA (PA:EXHO) sign the worst performance of the session, losing 4,18% is 4,36 points for a closing price of 99,94. Renault SA (PA:RENA) abandons the 1.90% 1.04 points and ends at 53,63. For its part, Thales (PA:TCFP) loose 1,60% is 1,70 points for a closing price of 104,45.

The best performance of the SBF 120 index return to SEB SA (PA:SEBF) which won 2,68% for a course of 160,70, CGG SA (PA:GEPH) up 2.22% to 1,819 and Vallourec SA (PA:VLLP) which is gaining 1.87 percent for a closing price at 2,719.

The values of the least-performing Klepierre SA (PA:LOIM) down 4.36% to 29,63 in closing, Sodexo SA (PA:EXHO) which loses 4,18% to 99,94 and DBV Technologies SA (PA:DBV), down 4.12% to 18,600 in close.

The titles in the drop exceeded the number of titles up to the Paris stock Exchange by 319 values at 250 and 92 stable.

The CAC 40 VIX, which measures the implied volatility of the options on the CAC 40 index, rose 1.67% up to 12.65.

On the other hand, the gold for delivery in August lost 0,07% 1.05 points, to $1.399,05 a troy ounce. Regarding other raw materials, crude oil for delivery in August rose 0.56%, or about 0.32 points for a $57,83 the barrel, while the Brent for delivery in September gained 0.45 per cent 0.29 points for a $64,52 barrel.

The pair EUR/USD recorded a decrease of 0.08% to 1,1215, while the EUR/GBP pair declined from 0.05% to 0,8960.
