France: The stock markets have finished the session lower on Thursday; the downturn in the sectors Oil and gas, Finance, and public Services contributed to this decline.
In the closing session in Paris, the CAC 40 declined 1.81%, while the SBF 120 index recorded a decline of 1.85%.
The best performance of the session for the CAC 40 index is to be put to the credit of the title Sodexo SA (PA:EXHO) up 0.39% or 0.40 points to a closing price of 102,00. In the second position, we find Sanofi SA (PA:SASY) in which the course remains unchanged, 0,00%, 0,00 points for a close at 74,90. The title Pernod Ricard SA (PA:PERP) completes the top three with a decline of 0.09% or 0.15 points for the end of the session to 161,75.
STMicroelectronics NV (PA:STM), sign the worst performance of the session, losing 5,67% 0,825 points for a closing price of 13,730. TechnipFMC PLC (PA:FTI) gives up 4.47 percent of 0.92 points and finished in 19,65. For its part, ArcelorMittal SA (AS:MT) loose 4,45% 0,652 points for a closing price of 14,010.
The best performance of the SBF 120 index return to Air France – KLM SA (PA:AIRF) which won 2,13% for a course of 7,966, ALD SA (PA:ALDA) up 1.23% to 13.22 and Rothschild&Co SCA (PA:ROTH) who wins with 0.54% for a closing price at 27,700.
The values of the least-performing CGG SA (PA:GEPH) down 7.50% to 1,449 in closing, Casino Guichard Perrachon SA (PA:CASP), which loses 6,40% 27,94 and STMicroelectronics NV (PA:STM), a decrease of 5,67% to 13,730 at the closing.
The titles in the drop exceeded the number of titles up to the Paris stock Exchange by 457 values to 89 and 84 stable.
The securities in ArcelorMittal SA (AS:MT) decreased and reached a low of 52 weeks, after releasing 4,45% 0,652 points for a course of 14,010.
The CAC 40 VIX, which measures the implied volatility of the options on the CAC 40 index, rose 18,88% up to 17.38.
On the other hand, the gold for delivery in June gained 0,88% in 11.25 points, to $some 1,285,45 a troy ounce. Regarding other raw materials, crude oil for delivery in July fell of 5.94% is about 3.65 points to a course of $57,77 per barrel, while Brent crude for delivery in July lost 5,23% 3,71 points for a $67,28 the barrel.
The pair EUR/USD has recorded an increase of 0.27% to 1,1182, while the EUR/GBP pair has taken up 0.16% to 0,8821.
