Facebook is going to change. The news feed – the home page where the content is offered to each of the two billion users of the social network – will be reconfigured to display more content shared or commented on by relatives and friends, to the detriment of those published by brands or media.
Mark Zuckerberg justifies this change in a simple way : make the users of Facebook more happy. “When we use social networks to connect people to which one holds, this increases our well-being. We feel more connected and less alone, which is positively correlated to long-term happiness and health. Conversely, passively read articles or watch videos even if they are informative or distracting, is not as beneficial, ” explains the CEO of the social network in a message.
