EUR/USD: The Euro fluctuates after the Easter break, factors to monitor in the short term

The pair EUR/USD hesitates on Tuesday, after the long Easter weekend, which is generally revealed to the upside, between a low of 1.1225 Thursday evening, and a peak of 1.1261 yesterday evening.

The only significant information in the course of this long break was the announcement by the USA that no waiver will be granted to any country for the purchase of iranian oil, but this does not seem to have influenced the trade on the forex.

In regards to the day today, although most traders are back from holidays, the exchanges are expected to remain limited, with very few catalysts potential in the economic calendar of the day.

Only the sales of new housing are in fact expected, in the United States at 14: 30.

We will also remain alert to any statements in respect of the Brexit, or the negotiations China-USA, the two folders macroeconomic major at the time.

From a graphical point of view, it should be noted that the approach of the moving average 100 hours, currently at 1.1260, seemed to stop the increase yesterday evening. We will keep this indicator in mind as the resistance immediately.

Above, the other potential barriers are situated at 1.1280, 1.13 and 1.1320-30 in a first time.

If these are the sellers who win, the media potential will be at 1.1235, 1.1225, the low of last week, and then on the psychological threshold of 1.12, and the lowest annual 2019 at 1.1175.
