Paris, 15 June 2017 Has the era of the factory-connected, Daher is continuing its transformation to digital and sign a partnership with the IoT Valley, a set of start-ups based in the toulouse metropolitan area, developing a unique ecosystem in the world dedicated to the Internet of things. Through this initiative, Daher wishes to accelerate its development in the fields of industry and logistics 4.0.
In the framework of this partnership for the next three years, a team Daher will be dedicated to the development of new products and connected services, is installed in the heart of the specialized ecosystem in the IoT Internet of Things (Internet of things), situated in the Toulouse area.
The team supervised Daher’s goal is to accelerate the development of new services IoT for industrial activities and logistics of the Group, to identify solutions IoT deployed by start-ups from the IoT Valley, to attract new start-ups promising in the Internet of things in order to work in a special way with them on future use cases.
“We have the ambition to deploy in the short-term and large-scale connected solutions both in industrial activity than logistics. The last will focus on the predictive maintenance and monitoring of equipment and the traceability of the components. Thus, the IoT Valley has convinced us of its positioning as the trusted third party between the company and the start-ups while offering a tailored support with a dedicated contact person. “says Pascal Hermel, VP Research & Technologies, Products & Services Daher.
Daher will select three start-ups in IOT in the sectors of industry or aviation per year and enable them to enjoy a first contract as well as an acceleration of 9 months within the IoT Valley.
