Changes in SEB’s executive management

The following appointments have been made with the entry into force on 1 and 15 may 2017:

Joachim Alpen has been appointed head of division Large companies & Financial institutions. Joachim Alpen has been a member of SEB’s group executive committee since 2014, and has since held the role as co-head of the division Large companies & Financial institutions. Prior to that he was head of the Markets division and member of divisional management for many years. The appointment shall enter into force on 1 may.

David Teare has been appointed head of division Life & Investment Management from may 15, 2017. David Teare has been koncernriskchef (Chief Risk Officer) since 2016. He has been a member of SEB’s group executive management since 2011, when he was appointed head of the Baltic division. Prior to that he was head of the kundansvarsorganisationen in the former the Merchant Banking division and member of divisional management.

Magnus Agustsson has been appointed to the new koncernriskchef and a member of the group executive committee from may 15, 2017. He has since 2014 been the head of Group Risk and prior to that, head of Group Risk Centre, within the CRO function. He started in the SEB in 2009 as head of risk management in the Baltic division. Magnus Agustsson is a civil engineer and has a master’s degree in economics from the university of Iceland.

Riho Unt, head of the Baltic division since 2016, 1 may 2017 appointed ordinary member of the executive management.

From 15 may, the SEB’s executive management consist of:
