Canada: stock markets finish lower; the S&P/TSX composite index declined 0.30%

Canada: The equity markets have finished the session lower on Tuesday; the downturn in the real Estate, REITs, and Health has contributed to this decline.

With the close in Toronto, the S&P/TSX composite index declined 0.30%.

The best performance of the session for the S&P/TSX composite is to be put to the credit of the as New Gold Inc (TSX:NGD) increase of 9.30%, 0,080 points for a closing price of 0,940. In the second position, we find Eldorado Gold Corp (TSX:ELD) and win 4,70% 0.22 points to close at 4.90 in. The title BSS Group Inc (TSX:NFI) completes the top three with an increase of 3.52% or a 1.15 points to end the session at 33,82.

Enerflex Ltd (TSX:EFX), sign the worst performance of the session, losing 6,29%, that is 1,10 points for a closing price of roe 16.40. MEG Energy Corp (TSX:MEG) gives up by 5.77% 0,27 points and ends at 4,41. For its part, Bausch Health Companies Inc (TSX:BHC) loose 5,70% 1,84 points for a closing price of 30.43.

The titles in the drop exceeded the number of titles up to the Toronto stock Exchange by 626 values at 415 and 143 stable.

The titles MEG Energy Corp (TSX:MEG) declined and reached a low of 52 weeks, after a decline by 5.77% 0,27 points for a course of 4,41.

The S&P/TSX 60 VIX, which measures the implied volatility of options on the S&P/TSX composite index rose 4.23% up to 12.31.

On the other hand, the gold for delivery in June lost or 0.39%, or 4,95 points, to $1.278,65 a troy ounce. Regarding other raw materials, crude oil for delivery in July rose from 0.72% to 0.42 points for a $59,05 the barrel, while Brent crude for delivery in August, gained 0.06 per cent 0.04 points for a $68,68 the barrel.

The pair CAD/USD has recorded an increase of 0.00% to 0,7411, so that the pair CAD/EUR has taken a 0.02% to 0,6641.
