Canada: equities end higher; the S&P/TSX composite index gaining 0.32% in

Canada: The equity markets have finished the session higher on Monday; the progress of the sectors Energy, Health, and Materials has contributed to this increase.

The best performance of the session for the S&P/TSX composite is to be put to the credit of the title of Bombardier Inc (TSX:BBDb) up 11,01% either 0,240 airspace points for a closing prices of 2,420. In the second position, we find Alacer Gold Corp (TSX:ASR) which is gaining 10,20%, that is, and 0.410 points for a close at 4,430. The title Enerplus Corp (TSX:ERF) completes the top three with an increase 6.58% or 0.58 points for the end of the session to be 9,39.

MEG Energy Corp (TSX:MEG), sign the worst performance of the session, losing some of 2.98% 0.15 points for a closing price of 4.88. Whitecap Resources Inc (TSX:WCP) abandons 2,90% or 0.12 points and ends at 4.02. For its part, TransAlta Corp (TSX:TA) loose 2,64% or 0.23 points for a closing price of 8,49.

The titles in the drop exceeded the number of titles up to the Toronto stock Exchange by 561 values 507 and 119 stable.

The securities Alacer Gold Corp (TSX:ASR) has progressed and reached a higher , due to higher 10.20% or and 0.410 points for a course of 4,430.

The S&P/TSX 60 VIX, which measures the implied volatility of options on the S&P/TSX composite index, has lost 4.09 per cent, reaching 11.50, new low of one month.

On the other hand, the gold for delivery in August lost 0.10 percent or of 1.35 points, to $1.343,15 a troy ounce.
