Canada: equities end higher; the S&P/TSX composite gains of 0.39%

Canada: The equity markets have finished the session up this Friday, the progression of industrial sectors, Finance, and Materials has contributed to this increase.

The best performance of the session for the S&P/TSX composite is to be put to the credit of the title Norbord Inc (TSX:OSB) on the rise of 9.19% is 2,64 points for a closing price of 31,38. In the second position, we find the North West Company Inc. (TSX:NWC), which earns 4.75% to be 1,42 points for a closing to 31.31. The title West Fraser Timber Co. Ltd (TSX:WFT) rounds out the top three with an increase of 3,58%, or 2.15, which points to the end of the session to 62,21.

New Gold Inc (TSX:NGD) sign the worst performance of the session, losing some of 8.57% is 0,090 points for a closing price of 0,960. Aphria Inc. (TSX:APHA) gives up 5.20% on either 0,500 points and ends at 9,110. For its part, Encana Corp (TSX:ECA) loose of 5.02%, equivalent to 0.33 points for a closing price of 6.25.

The titles on the rise and have exceeded the number of securities decline on the Toronto stock Exchange by 547 values to 475 and 153 stable.
