BIOCORP will sign a contract of industrialization with Virbac

Issoire, May 29, 2017 at 7: 00 am CEST – BIOCORP (FR0012788065 – ALCOR / eligible PEA-PME), a French company specialized in the development and manufacturing of medical devices and systems of administration of innovative drugs, announced today the signing of an industrialization contract with Virbac, 7th veterinary laboratory in the world.
This contract is part of the strategy of BIOCORP, which solicited for its expertise and its know-how, generated in 2015 and 2016 many of the programs of development and industrialization for specific developments with many partners. With more than 4,800 employees, the group Virbac, dedicated to animal health, has commercial subsidiaries in 31 countries, production sites in 11 countries and R&D centres on 5 continents.
The investment decision has been given after 24 months of collaboration between BIOCORP and Virbac for the development of a delivery device, tailored to the needs of the veterinary laboratory. This device is an innovative product of capping and issuing vial with the advantage of being multi-use and enable the administration of optimum products selected by the group Virbac.
The delivery of the first products is expected between the first and the second quarter of 2018. BIOCORP will then be responsible for the production of the industrial product.
