Belgium: market shares end down; the BEL 20 index declined 0.96%

Belgium: The stock markets have finished the session lower on Monday; the downturn in the real Estate, Pharma and biotechnology, and Media has contributed to this decline.

The best performance of the session for the BEL 20 index is to be put to the credit of the title Sofina (BR:SOF) increase of 1.05% is 1,80 points for a closing price of 172,80. In the second position, we find Ageas SA (BR:AGES) who wins 0,61% or 0,290 points for a closing to 47,670. The title Ontex Group (BR:ONTEX) completes the top three with an increase of 0.53% or 0.07 points for the end of the session to 13,24.

Telenet Group Holding NV (BR:TNET), sign the worst performance of the session, losing 8,89% is 4,32 points for a closing price of 44,26. Proximus NV (BR:PROX) abandons rose to 4.91%, equivalent to 1,28 points and ends at 24,77. For its part, Umicore SA (BR:UMI) loose 2,97%, i.e. 0,83 points for a closing price of 27,14.

The titles in the drop exceeded the number of titles up to the Brussels stock Exchange by 62 values to 44 and 13 stable.

The securities Ageas SA (BR:AGES) have progressed and reached a top , after having taken 0,61% or 0,290 points for a course of 47,670.

On the other hand, the gold for delivery in August has lost 0,11%, or a total of 1.55 points, to $1.398,55 a troy ounce. Regarding other raw materials, crude oil for delivery in August rose by 0.82% or 0.47 in points for a $57,98 barrel, while Brent crude for delivery in September gained 0.67 per cent representing 0.43 points for a $64,66 the barrel.

The pair EUR/USD recorded a decrease of 0.08% to 1,1215, while the pair EUR/GBP fell 0.07% to 0,8958.
