In order to facilitate the transition in management at the head of the Group, such resignation shall take effect from the July 17, 2017.

Alexandre Bompard will retain his duties as director of the Company until the last quarter of 2017. The Board wishes to warmly thank Alexandre Bompard for the quality of the work done and the exceptional trajectory that has seen the Group under his leadership for the past seven years. The Council underlines in particular the turnaround in the company’s operational, and the approximation with Darty, which has already borne its first fruit.

On behalf of all the members of the Board of Directors, and Patricia Barbizet, Vice-President of the Council said : “The course managerial and industrial of Alexandre Bompard to the head of Fnac Darty is a great achievement. The strategy is bold and proactive, he has deployed to bring the Group to new horizons and the remarkable quality of the teams in which he is surrounded, allow the Group to tackle, with success and strength in this new phase of its history. I would like on behalf of all the members of the Board to wish Alexander every success in his new role.”

In order to ensure continuity in the management of the Group, the Board has asked the Committee of appointments and remuneration, and to Alexandre Bompard to study the different possible solutions in terms of succession, and make recommendations to the Council by the 17th July.
