Biography of Xavier Govare
Xavier Govare, 59 years old, from the EDHEC business school, graduated with a degree in marketing and began his career with Reckitt Benckiser in 1983. He works in 1985, during 4 years, for Best Foods (now a subsidiary of Unilever). In 1989, he joined the Group Labeyrie Fine Foods (LFF) as Director Marketing and Sales. In 2000, he became General Manager and in 2002 CEO of the Group. Under his Chairmanship, the Group Labeyrie has seen its turnover multiplied by 36, and to date, more than 5000 employees. He is also a director of Savencia cheese and dairy, and a director of Logismose Meyers.
