The Federal Reserve will raise rates another two times in the year.
It believes the Fed chief in Dallas, Robert Kaplan, who was interviewed in CNBC on Tuesday.
He said that the de-escalation of the accommodation should be gradually and that he is worried by the latest statistics.
At the same time, he said that he believes that the U.S. can grow by 2 percent this year.
The Fed chief also said that a tax reform would be helpful and that the tight labor market should help lift inflation.
Robert Kaplan said that the Fed’s balance sheet should be significantly less than it is today, and that a correction of the stock exchange can be healthy.
