Vinci Energies, through its brand Omexom and in a joint venture with Morgan Sindall, has announced it has won a contract to design and build a new electricity transmission network in Scotland, a project in the amount of 30 million pounds Sterling.

Carried out in the framework of a market of power transmission, concluded with SSEN, this new infrastructure of 18.5 km,will connect the substation of Knocknagael and the new post of transformation of Tomatin in Inverness, in the north of Scotland.

Once operational, the new infrastructure will strengthen the networks high voltage scottish and will contribute in particular to the connection of production facilities onshore wind located near Tomatin.
