© Reuters. SAINT GOBAIN: THE BOARD PROPOSES TO REAPPOINT THE CEO CHALENDAR
PARIS (Reuters) – The board of directors of Saint-Gobain (PA:SGOB) will propose the renewal of the mandate of the CEO Pierre-André de Chalendar at the annual general meeting of June 7, 2018, for a term of four years, said Thursday the group of construction materials.
The board has unanimously decided to propose the renewal of the directorship of Pierre-André de Chalendar and, if the AG renews this mandate, intends to appoint the new chairman of the board of directors and director general of the group, says Saint-Gobain in a statement.
The board of directors of Saint-Gobain has also decided to co-opt Dominique Leroy, managing director of the telecom operator for the belgian Proximus, as independent director in replacement of Olivia Qiu, who has resigned.
