© Reuters. Saffron: Comair sign a maintenance contract with CFM
The domestic airline of south africa Comair has signed a maintenance agreement with the flight-hour (RPFH) with CFM International (joint venture 50/50 between GE and Safran (PA:SAF)), has informed Safran on Tuesday evening.
An eight-year period, it is intended to ensure the support of the fleet of 16 engines CFM56-7B Comair. The value of the contract is estimated at $ 160 million at list prices. According to the terms of the signed contract, CFM will provide support to the fleet on the basis of a dollar amount per hour of vol.
