Osram Licht (F:OSRn) climbed 3.4% in Frankfurt, helped by Barclays (LON:BARC) share Capital (BarCap), which raises its recommendation from ‘weight’ to ‘overweight’ and its target price from 59 to 100 euros, on the title of the German group of lighting solutions.
The broker believes that the potential growth of the turnover and results of the unit Opto Semi is not fully reflected in the estimates of the consensus (that BarCap surpasses 11%) and in the valuation.
‘The detection capabilities of Opto means that it could emerge as a supplier of key components for the applications of automobile driving’, said the middleman, who is judge now reduced the risk of the new strategy of the group.
