(Reuters) – Home Depot has discussed internally these last few months of the redemption of XPO Logistics, reports on Friday, the news site Recode, citing a source close to the first worldwide chain of diy stores.

The title XPO has touched a peak of 86,80 dollars a result of this information, while the Home Depot has evolved little.

Home Depot may make an offer to the logistics group, worth some $ 9 billion to keep especially out of reach of Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN), adds the site.

The group of Atlanta think that the giant of online distribution has also planned to redeem XPO, he says.

Home Depot and XPO have refused to comment on the information.
