Published this late Friday afternoon, the latest unemployment figures in France have revealed an increase in the number of job-seekers last month.
The ministry of Labour is in effect to report an increase of 0.2% in the number of job seekers in category A, that is 8,000 more than in October, 3.483.600 (3.740.000 including overseas). This follows a decline of 1.8%.
The total number of job seekers in categories B and C included, in contrast, remained stable month-over-month to 5.620.000 (5.920.000 including overseas).
